Malevolent medication: dangerous drugs in Georgian pharmacies


The head of the Georgian Drug Administration, Tinatin Turdzeladze announced on Tuesday that it's possible some dangerous medications may have entered the Georgian market and warns consumers to be careful.

As a reaction to the increased flow of smuggled pharmaceutical drugs into Azerbaijan, the Azeri Drug Administration has been testing many medications on sale in the country and has discovered fake medicines it reports are dangerous if ingested.
