Counterfeit drugs monitored


The Zambia Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority is to spend over K300 million to procure mini drug testing kits.
The funds will also be used to deploy Drug Control officers in border areas to avert counterfeit drugs from entering the country.

Authority Acting Director Esnart Mwape said the officers will work with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) officials in border points to monitor the flow of drugs.
