Fake medicines targeted at Malta
A sensitive magisterial inquiry is underway after the discovery of a fake medicinal product in the Maltese market.
The police investigations are at an advanced stage and the alleged counterfeit drugs have been sent for further examinations at a number of renowned international laboratories.
The hauled medicine is being studied in laboratories at the United States, United Kingdom and Germany, sources told maltastar.com.
