ECO Secretary General: 60% of counterfeit drugs made in developed countries
Baku hosts an International Conference on Fight against Counterfeit Drugs. The two-day conference is being attended by representatives from World Customs Organization, Economic Cooperation Organizations, Interpol, World Health Organization, customs agencies of 21 countries and 17 pharmaceutical companies and other organizations.
Azerbaijan Customs Committee Chairman Aydin Aliyev underscored strengthening of joint cooperation in fighting counterfeit medicines, coordination of state agencies and private sector, development of special machinery for effective fight against the problem.
