P500-million drug case stalled

Police have urged the Bureau of Food and Drugs to enforce a warrant of seizure over P500 million worth of unregistered medicine from China found during a raid in Tondo, Manila last Friday.

A senior police officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, alleged that the case of the illegal drug trade of Chito Lu, principal suspect, was being stalled at the bureau and the Department of Health.
