Counterfeit drugs seized


Drugs valued at over Ksh. 5 million have been destroyed by pharmacy and poisons board of Kenya in conjunction with GlaxoSmithkline at the Kenya medical research institute KEMRI.

A consignment of the counterfeit Panadol Extra tablets was seized from the local market in an operation carried out by the ministry of health and the police.
