PSM Executive Director Will Present at PDMA Sharing Conference

The Partnership for Safe Medicine's Executive Director, Scott LaGanga, is presenting on Thursday September 20th, at the The PDMA Sharing Conference.  The conference, held at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, is held over three days starting September 19th.

Mr. LaGanga will bring attendees up to date on the risks and dangers associated with counterfeit drugs, a real concern for American consumers. From fake online pharmacies to direct solicitations to medical practitioners - and including time-tested grey market diversions - fake drugs are making their way to unsuspecting consumers.

LaGanga will discuss the severity of the problem and talk about what's being done to fight it. He'll cite recent incidents to demonstrate the need for a multi-level security approach to protect the integrity of our drug supply chain. He'll also discuss the critical role of regulators, Congress, law enforcement, patient advocacy groups, industry organizations and anti-counterfeiting vendor partners.

Registration is open to see LaGanga speak at the PDMA Sharing Conference.

LaGanga will also be speaking at the Partnership for Safe Medicine's Interchange on September 28th, 2012 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.  Tickets are available.
