Tools to help pharmacists protect patients from counterfeit medication
Pharmacists are in a unique position to both prevent counterfeit medication use and diagnose the telltale signs of counterfeit drugs in their patients.
With risks to patients coming from direct-retail channels, such as fake online pharmacies, as well as from dubious distributors, pharmacists need to be on their guard to insure their patients receive only certifiably authentic U.S. FDA approved medication.
