Task force seizes tonnes of fake drugs
GOVERNMENT authorities have seized several tonnes of counterfeit, unregistered and expired human and veterinary medicines in a special operation carried out last week.The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr Robert Manumba, told a news conference in Dar es Salaam yesterday that in the operation code named “Mamba” 233 boxes of veterinary drugs were seized. He said the operation covered Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mbeya and Mwanza.
