EU, China monitoring seaports to counter surge in fake drugs – report


BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) – The European Union and China have started monitoring major seaports including Rotterdam and Shenzhen for counterfeit pharmaceuticals, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing EU Taxation and Customs Commissioner Laszlo Kovacs.

European customs have seized fake drugs ranging from antimalarials to vitamin supplements, the report said.
