Ontario Pharmacists Offer Qualified Support For Federal Action to Stop Cross-border Rx Trade

TORONTO, June 30 /CNW/ – The Ontario Pharmacists' Association (OPA) has offered its qualified support for plans announced yesterday by the Canadian Minister of Health to curb the cross-border trade in prescription drugs. The OPA has been a longtime opponent of allowing Canada's finite drug supply to be diverted to the United States, and of the practices of cross-border internet pharmacies.
