Adulterated drugs pose threat to public health


Adulterated medicines, including lifesaving drugs, are flooding the domestic market for lax administration while the country is exporting high-quality pharmaceutical products across the world.

Following reports that such medicines are posing threat to public health and putting patients at serious risk, a survey found substandard and counterfeit medicines in many drugstores across the country.
