Pharmacist raises alert of cross-border threat


Americans could face a new terrorist threat, one that comes in the form of a pill, said Ontario Pharmacists' Association (OPA) CEO Marc Kealey.

Kealey, a Lorne Park resident, spoke Monday at a Rotary Club of Ottawa meeting, telling his audience that the threat is one of several potential outcomes of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security decision on Oct. 9 to cease customs' confiscation of all drugs entering the United States from Canada.
