Online drug sales to the U.S. fell in 2006: report


Online pharmacy sales from Canadian companies to the United States were almost halved in 2006 from a year earlier as Canadian Internet pharmacies felt the pressure from the strength of the loonie, according to a report by IMS Health.

The report said online pharmacy sales to the United States fell to $211 million from $420 million, in line with a trend of declining sales for every quarter since June 2004.
