SA scores high in war against online drugs


The Internet has become an important player in the illegal drugs trade.
The just-released 2006 report of the International Narcotics Control Board highlights the role of "cyberpharmacies" in illegally selling a wide range of psychotropic drugs.

South Africa is one of the few countries which has acted against the threat, the report says, and a case is pending against an online pharmacy closed by authorities.
