EU to crack down on peddlers of fake products

BRUSSELS, July 12 (Reuters) – People who peddle counterfeit fake drugs, food and other goods that threaten health, should be locked up for at least four years or be fined up to 300,000 euros ($365,000), the European Commission proposed on Tuesday.
