Canuck Internet drug industry strikes back


WINNIPEG — Under attack from U.S. regulators, Canada's Internet drug industry came out swinging yesterday at what they claim is a politically motivated smear campaign designed to shut the flow of cheaper Canadian drugs south of the border.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has warned that Minnedosa-based Mediplan Prescription Plus Pharmacy and Mediplan Global Health were under investigation for allegedly selling counterfeit drugs.
