Officer insists Nasr filled prescription


His lawyer suggests accused pharmacist Abadir Nasr was not the only druggist at King West Pharmacy who dispensed counterfeit and unauthorized cardiovascular medication.

Defence counsel Dean Paquette implied to several witnesses at his client's fraud trial yesterday that Bhash Mehta, who continued to work two days a week at the pharmacy after selling the business in August 2004, was also filling prescriptions with fake and grey market versions of the drug Norvasc.
