Akunyili bags human rights award
Director – General of National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Dora Akunyili has been named sole recipient of the 2005 Grassroot Human Rights Campaigner award by a London-based Human Rights Defense Organization. She thus becomes the first African to win the award.
