Drug Thieves Arrested in Lagos

Nigerian police have arrested two men for stealing money and medicine from a pharmaceutical company in Lagos.

The two men allegedly broke into Remson Investment Nigeria Limited in Lagos and stole N470,500 in cash and approximately N600,000 (US$4,000) in pharmaceutical products.  The police have arrested Bishop Godsent, 34, as the recipient of the stolen drugs and money, and Ebuka Chukwu, 34, as the thief, reports the Nigerian newspaper, PM News.

Mr. Chukwu confessed to the theft, according to police, and implicated Mr. Godsent as the goods recipient in his confession.  Mr. Godsent has denied receiving either money or medicine from Mr. Chukwu.
