Bejon Misra Moderating Panel at Interchange

Bejon Misra, Founder of The Partnership for Safe Medicines India, will be moderating the 1:45pm panel, “The Role of Patients and Healthcare Professionals,” at the Partnership for Safe Medicines Interchange on October 27, 2011.

Mr. Misra has been in the consumer empowerment policy advocacy and research for the last 27 years and is also the Managing Director & Trustee of the Consumer Online Foundation and Chairman of Cell for Consumer Education & Advocacy (CCEA) based in New Delhi, India.

“I am looking forward to the Interchange as it will enable me to further empower the consumers in developing countries to access safe medicines at the most affordable price in partnership with the global leaders,” said Mr. Misra.

Mr. Misra has been in the consumer empowerment policy advocacy and research for the last 27 years and is also the Managing Director & Trustee of the Consumer Online Foundation and Chairman of Cell for Consumer Education & Advocacy (CCEA) based in New Delhi, India.

“I always firmly believed that business grows and profits if it has a consumer focus and builds relationship with the consumers” said Mr. Misra.

He further said, “I am looking forward to the Interchange as it will enable me to further empower the consumers in developing countries to access safe medicines at the most affordable price in partnership with the global leaders”.

He has worked for over ten years as an International Expert on User (Consumer) Focus to develop quality management systems for public and private organizations. He has worked with UNDP, UNICEF, UNCTAD, WHO, World Bank, GTZ, British Council, DFID, GAIN and EPOS. He is the founder of the Consumer Coordination Council (CCC), the national coalition of 70 leading Indian consumer organizations since 1993 and at present on the board of several organizations representing consumer interest.
